Tuyen Quang removes temporary and dilapidated houses for more than 15,000 households

TPO - Tuyen Quang province has implemented the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for 15,064/15,064 households (of which, 11,511 new houses were built; 3,553 houses were renovated and repaired). By the end of August 29, 2025, the plan had basically been completed.

According to the report, Tuyen Quang province has completed 261/261 houses for people with meritorious services and relatives of martyrs (achieving 100% of the plan). The total cost is 11,520 million VND.

Housing support from the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction for 5,970 households reached 100% of the plan. Total support budget was 309,668.1 million VND, mobilizing 25,499 working days to support.

Housing support from the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas: 711 new houses, reaching 100% of the plan. Total cost: 42,664.6 million VND.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province has received calls from agencies, units and businesses from other provinces to join hands in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Tuyen Quang province with a total amount of 335,487 million VND.

In addition to financial contributions, volunteers, police, military, local authorities, organizations, unions and people have joined hands to contribute over 135,000 working days to help households build and repair houses, contributing significantly to speeding up the completion of the plan in the whole province.

On the afternoon of August 29, the Steering Committee for the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Tuyen Quang province held a conference to summarize the Program for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Tuyen Quang province.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh affirmed that the completion of the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for people is a "miracle" of Tuyen Quang, demonstrating the concern for people's lives.

The Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee emphasized that this result was achieved thanks to the close direction of the province, the joint efforts of businesses, organizations and individuals inside and outside the locality, and the consensus of the people.

“If the people do not agree, we cannot implement this program. This is the success of the entire political system, not just of a single industry, field or agency,” said the Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee.

On this occasion, 19 collectives and 32 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Tuyen Quang province.
