Second round of primary school enrollment in Thu Duc City starts from July 19

Accordingly, Thu Duc City will conduct the second round of primary school enrollment online.

The conditions for the second round of admission are students who have not been assigned to the first round of admission and updated on the education sector database. The Steering Committee for the first round of admission will review the schools' reception capacity to adjust and arrange accordingly to ensure that 100% of students can attend school.

Public primary and secondary schools continue to enroll children on the list of the primary enrollment steering committee and whose names are not on the first list. After two enrollment rounds, if schools still lack the quota compared to the allocation of the People's Committee of Thu Duc City, the school will send a document proposing additional quotas and the additional list must be approved by the primary enrollment steering committee.

Accordingly, from 9:00 a.m. on July 19 , the enrollment software system will send notifications to the phones of parents whose children are assigned to the second round of admission to a specific school, providing a profile code and security code. Parents will access the website https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn to enter the profile code and security code to register their children for admission.

The Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City also announced the detailed content and structure of the message sent to parents of students in the second round of primary school admission as follows:

"Thu Duc City Department of Education and Training announces: Student Nguyen Van A was admitted to school....... Parents confirm admission at tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn (search for results) and check the application submission schedule on the school's website".

From July 22 to 27 , primary and secondary schools, based on the list of the Thu Duc City Admissions Steering Committee, will organize the reception of applications from students assigned to their school districts.

On August 1 , schools announced the list of admissions for the 2024-2025 school year (results of 2 admission rounds).

Mr. Nguyen Thai Vinh Nguyen, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City, noted the following:

• For students entering grade 1, if they have not received a message, parents should contact the ward People's Committee - education specialist teacher to review, adjust information and update the list (if the name is not on the list in 2 batches).
• For students entering grade 6, if they have not received a message, parents should contact the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City - Admissions Department to review, adjust information and update the list (if there is no name in the 2 batches).
• Before the end of the second round of primary school admissions, the school's admissions council will review the cases whose names are on the list but have not yet registered for admission, make a list, make a plan, assign personnel to contact and support parents via phone, and notify the ward People's Committee to coordinate verification and mobilization.
