Propagating social insurance policies for workers in Thang Binh district

(QNO) - On the morning of June 21, Social Insurance of Region XXII coordinated with Social Insurance of Thang Binh - Que Son district to organize policy propaganda for workers.

The two units organized a dialogue and propaganda on social insurance (SI) and health insurance policies and laws for more than 200 employees of Domex Quang Nam Co., Ltd. at Ha Lam - Cho Duoc Industrial Cluster (Binh Phuc Commune, Thang Binh District).

Employees are informed of new points of the Social Insurance Law No. 41/2024/QH15 effective from July 1, 2025, such as: Supplementing social pension benefits, linking social pension benefits and basic social insurance, expanding the subjects participating in compulsory social insurance, encouraging employees to reserve their contribution period to receive pensions instead of receiving social insurance at a time and some new related regulations.

Workers also asked questions related to unemployment benefits, sick leave, procedures for receiving one-time social insurance benefits, unemployment insurance benefits, procedures for out-of-network medical examinations, benefits for high-tech treatment costs, etc.

The opinions and recommendations of the workers were answered and resolved by the Social Insurance of Region XXII and the Social Insurance of Thang Binh - Que Son district at the conference. It is known that Domex Quang Nam Company Limited operates in the garment industry and currently has 1,400 employees.
