Provincial People's Committee works with T&T Group Joint Stock Company and BP Gas & Power Investments Limited

On May 16, Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a working session with T&T Group Joint Stock Company and BP Gas & Power Investments Limited (UK) to listen to reports, introduce their capacity, experience and interest in proposing to participate in the Ca Na LNG power project.

At the meeting, the consortium of investors, T&T Group Joint Stock Company and BP Gas & Power Investments Limited, presented their investment capacity and experience, especially their strengths in the field of electricity and gas power, and their investment in many large projects at home and abroad. The consortium of investors also presented their investment and construction plan to complete the project and put it into operation in 2030, moving towards forming a green energy zone in the province. They hoped that the province would support and provide relevant documents on the project and investment rate to prepare and submit documents to participate in the bidding to select investors in order to have the opportunity to participate in the implementation of the Ca Na LNG Power project.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Trinh Minh Hoang highly appreciated the capacity and investment experience of the Investor Consortium; and at the same time, he said: The LNG Ca Na Power Project is being completed by the province, and it is expected that in July 2024, the international bidding documents will be widely and publicly issued. This is one of the 12 national key projects, currently attracting the attention of many investors, so the province hopes that the project will attract strong investors to participate in the bidding, thereby selecting the most capable investor to implement the project with the highest efficiency. The province is committed to creating maximum conditions to help investors grasp information, access the project in accordance with regulations, ensuring transparency, fairness and objectivity. The province hopes that the consortium of T&T Group Joint Stock Company and BP Gas & Power Investments Limited will participate in the bidding and demonstrate their advantages and capabilities in the process of selecting investors for the Ca Na LNG Power Project. Through this, the province also hopes that investors will be interested in studying more offshore wind power projects in Ninh Thuan in the coming time.
