The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee launched a campaign to support people affected by natural disasters.

Responding to the appeal of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province organized a fundraising campaign to support people in localities affected by storms and floods.

At the launching ceremony, the leaders, along with all officials, civil servants and employees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province, participated in donating at least one day's salary in cash, or transferring directly to the relief account of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

On this occasion, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also called on agencies, units, enterprises, cadres, civil servants, workers and all people in the province with compassion, responsibility and sharing, to join hands to support and help people in areas affected by natural disasters. This is an action of profound human significance, promoting the tradition of solidarity and mutual love of the nation, joining hands with the Party and State to support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, soon stabilize their lives and restore production.

Faced with the heavy damage caused by floods, promoting the tradition of "Mutual Love", on October 8, Quang Ninh province supported 15 billion VND to the provinces that are suffering a lot of damage due to floods, including: Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Cao Bang (supporting each province with 3 billion VND). This is the fund taken from the voluntary contribution to support overcoming difficulties caused by natural disasters, epidemics, and incidents managed by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
