
The delegation visited and presented gifts to policy families in Dien Bien Phu City, including: Disabled soldier Nguyen Thanh Mai (disabled soldier 64%), Mrs. Nguyen Thi Beu - who raised martyrs during the resistance war, veteran Lam Quoc Minh who participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign and veteran Pham Duc Cu who participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign, both residing in Nam Thanh ward; disabled soldier Mai Trong Kuong, residential group 2, Thanh Binh ward.

Visiting and presenting gifts to policy families, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang kindly inquired about their health and life and expressed his deep gratitude for the sacrifices and great contributions of policy families, war invalids, veterans, and families with meritorious services to the peace , independence, and freedom of the nation. He requested local authorities and organizations to continue to pay attention, care for, and implement policies well for policy families and meritorious people in the area.

Touched by the attention and encouragement of Politburo member Nguyen Xuan Thang and the working delegation, war invalids, sick soldiers, and people with meritorious services to the revolution affirmed that they will always promote family traditions, encourage their children and grandchildren to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, strive in work as well as develop the family economy; actively participate in patriotic emulation movements in the locality, contributing to building Dien Bien province to be more and more developed and prosperous.


Previously, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, along with the working delegation and leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Dien Bien province, came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the A1 Martyrs Cemetery.
