Thai Nguyen urgently overcomes the consequences of storm No. 10 and post-storm floods

Faced with the severe damage caused by storm No. 10 and floods, implementing the Prime Minister's direction in Official Dispatch No. 185/CD-TTg, on October 3, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province issued Official Dispatch No. 13/CD-UBND, requesting departments, branches and localities to more quickly deploy measures to overcome the consequences and soon stabilize people's lives.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested other departments, branches and sectors, according to their assigned state management functions, to proactively coordinate and support localities in overcoming consequences caused by storms, floods, landslides, flash floods and landslides.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed localities to focus on mobilizing maximum forces and means to support people in repairing houses and restoring essential infrastructure works, first of all, health care, education , electricity, water, traffic, telecommunications, especially the roads that are still cut off in Vinh Thong, Van Lang, Thuong Minh communes... The repair work must be completed before October 5, 2025, ensuring that people do not lack housing, food, clothing or conditions for studying and medical examination and treatment.

The telegram also called for promoting the spirit of “mutual love and support”, “helping each other”, and mobilizing the cooperation of organizations, businesses and people to support the damaged areas. Chairmen of the People’s Committees of communes and wards are requested to urgently compile statistics, assess the damage, and report the need for support with rice, clean water, and necessities before 3:00 p.m. on October 4, 2025; at the same time, support people to restore production, especially agricultural production.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned to guide localities in implementing measures to restore production, ensure food supply; synthesize support needs, and report to the Provincial People's Committee before October 6, 2025. Military and police forces proactively support people at the request of localities.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Finance, the Department of Industry and Trade and relevant sectors to promptly implement support and insurance policies for damaged enterprises, in order to restore production and circulation of goods, contributing to socio -economic stability.

Other departments, branches and sectors, according to their assigned state management functions, proactively coordinate and support localities in implementing work to overcome consequences caused by storms, floods, landslides, flash floods and landslides.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, sectors and localities to seriously implement with the most urgent, synchronous and drastic spirit, ensuring that people's lives soon return to normal.
