However, excessive use and even abuse of phones makes children dependent on phones.

“Realizing the need to control, raise responsibility and awareness for students when using phones, the school has always reminded and through teachers regularly propagated to help students in the school understand the positive aspects of phones, proactively stay away from the negative aspects that phones bring so as not to affect their studies, physical and mental health...”, Ms. Bang Thi Thuy Ha stated.

Using the phone without full awareness and comprehensiveness makes many students get too addicted to the phone. There are even cases of cheating in the learning process, with the use of the phone to answer the lessons instead of thinking and finding the solution.

Principal of Ha Huy Tap High School Cao Thanh Bao shared: We cannot deny the benefits and positive aspects when students use mobile phones. However, to avoid being too addicted to the phone, even falling into negative activities brought by the phone, it is very necessary to promote and encourage students to raise their sense of responsibility when using mobile phones.

The campaign aims to help students become more aware and conscious of the benefits and harms of cell phones to themselves.

For a long time, the school has always had supervision, starting from homeroom teachers to subject teachers, always propagating and reminding students when using phones for life and study so as not to affect their studies, life and spirit.

When entering the classroom, except with permission from the teacher for subjects requiring reference materials, students must put their phones in boxes prepared in advance by the class and school. Only when there is no class can students use their phones.

Sharing this view, Principal of Nghi Loc 3 High School Pham Thi Tuyet Mai said that campaigns like the one launched by the industry are necessary, they will create stronger alarms to remind students to raise their awareness and responsibility for using their cell phones for the right purpose and function.
