Gold returns to 79 million VND/tael

At nearly 10:00 a.m., Saigon Jewelry Company listed the price of SJC gold bars at VND76.8 million/tael (buy) - VND79 million/tael (sell), an increase of VND200,000/tael each way compared to the end of last week.

Doji Gold and Gemstone Group set the price at 76.75 million VND/tael (buy) - 78.95 million VND/tael (sell), 200,000 VND/tael higher than last weekend each way.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited listed the price at 76.85 million VND/tael (buy) - 78.8 million VND/tael (sell), 50,000 VND/tael (buy) and 200,000 VND/tael (sell) higher than last weekend.

Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company increased by VND300,000/tael each way, trading at VND76.8 million/tael (buy) - VND79 million/tael (sell).

The price of gold rings remained unchanged in some places, and decreased by 50,000 - 100,000 VND/tael in others, commonly traded at 63.55 - 64.63 million VND/tael (buy) and 64.6 - 65.73 million VND/tael (sell).

The price of SJC gold bars increased despite the world's precious metal prices falling. At 10am, the international gold price decreased by nearly 5 USD/ounce, trading at 2,031.6 USD/ounce, converted to be about 18 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.

If the buying and selling price of gold bars is 1.95 - 2.2 million VND/tael, the price of gold rings is at 1.05 - 1.2 million VND/tael.
