Raid on the forest in Cam Lac, captured 2 escaped prisoners

2 prisoners arrested after 3 days of escape

"The area where the authorities caught the two escaped prisoners was in the forest in Cam Lac commune, Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh. This is the area that the capture force has also cordoned off, placing it in the central area for searching. To quickly catch these two prisoners, the authorities, in addition to using synchronous professional measures, also combined with information from the masses," Colonel Phong informed.

3 days of intense search and capture of 2 escaped prisoners in Ha Tinh

As Thanh Nien reported, at around 3:00 p.m. on December 6, two prisoners, Phan Cong Thanh (36 years old, residing in Thach Chau commune, Loc Ha district, Ha Tinh) and Nguyen Dac Hoang (39 years old, residing in Cam Nhuong commune, Cam Xuyen district) took advantage of a loophole while working to escape from Xuan Ha Prison. When escaping, the two prisoners were wearing black shirts and boots.

Prisoner Phan Cong Thanh is serving two prison sentences from the People's Court of Ha Tinh province and the People's Court of Pho Yen city ( Thai Nguyen ) for fraud and property appropriation, with a total sentence of 19 years in prison. At the time of his escape, prisoner Thanh had served 2 years, 7 months and 12 days.

Police dogs were mobilized to capture two escaped prisoners.

Prisoner Nguyen Dac Hoang is serving a 20-year prison sentence for illegal drug trafficking according to judgment No. 117, dated November 10, 2017 of the People's Court of Nghe An province. At the time of his escape, prisoner Hoang had served 6 years, 6 months and 7 days.

Immediately after discovering two prisoners escaped from prison, the Xuan Ha Prison Board informed the authorities and people to take precautions, coordinate in arresting them, and signed a nationwide wanted notice.

Ha Tinh Provincial Police also decided to mobilize more than 2,000 officers and soldiers, including professional units, Criminal Police, Investigation Police, Traffic Police, local police and commune police, to deploy professional measures to capture the two prisoners after 3 days of escaping from prison.
