General Secretary To Lam highly appreciated the positive developments in the bilateral relationship in all fields, affirming that this relationship has become a model in international relations. The General Secretary stressed that Vietnam always considers the United States a partner of strategic importance, wishing to continue cooperation on the basis of the fundamental principles of respecting each other's independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and political institutions.

The General Secretary affirmed that Vietnam will continue to create a favorable investment environment for US businesses. He suggested that the two sides promote cooperation in high-priority areas such as science and technology , semiconductor industry, energy and digital transformation, creating conditions for Vietnam to purchase high-tech goods and receive advanced technology transfer from the US.

Ambassador Marc Knapper affirmed that the United States highly values ​​the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Vietnam. He expressed support for Vietnam's independent and self-reliant foreign policy and highly appreciated Vietnam's growing role in promoting peace and cooperation in the region and the world. The Ambassador pledged to coordinate efforts to effectively implement high-level agreements on all pillars of cooperation.
