Vingroup sponsors 1,000 billion VND for the national foreign emergency hospital project

At the workshop "Building a foreign emergency project for the period 2025 - 2030" organized by the Ministry of Health in Hanoi on March 21, Vingroup Corporation announced a sponsorship of 1,000 billion VND to support the implementation of the project, and signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to pilot the project with four localities including Hai Phong, Ha Tinh, Khanh Hoa and Kien Giang .

The foreign emergency project is a key national project to build a synchronous and modern foreign emergency system, contributing to improving the quality of medical emergency care and increasing access to emergency services for people nationwide.

Accordingly, Vingroup will synchronously deploy many activities to accompany the Ministry of Health and localities to improve the quality and operation of the outpatient emergency system, increasing people's access to emergency services.

Vingroup will support and invest in upgrading emergency equipment, specialized ambulances, training medical staff, rescue forces and the community in first aid techniques, sponsoring training equipment and a number of other items.

The company will also consider investing in installing automatic defibrillators (AEDs) at important public places such as train stations, wharves, airports and schools to help increase the chances of survival for cardiovascular stroke cases according to the Ministry of Health's policy.

In addition, Vingroup also participates in supporting the construction of a communication and emergency coordination system, facilitating quick connection between emergency units and hospitals.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang - Vice Chairman and General Director of Vingroup Corporation - said that Vingroup wishes to accompany the Ministry of Health and localities in improving the quality of outpatient emergency services.

"We believe that with proper investment in an advanced emergency system, people will enjoy fast and effective medical services, contributing to minimizing risks and improving the quality of public health care," said Mr. Quang.
