Tam Dao National Park, located on the border of 3 provinces, Vinh Phuc , Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, has an area of ​​19,000 hectares, is one of the largest ecological forests in the North.

The national park has a large area, stretching 80 km through 3 provinces of Vinh Phuc, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen . The park has a total area of ​​nearly 33,000 hectares, mainly natural primeval forest. In order to achieve the goal of developing eco-tourism, in recent years, Tam Dao National Park has coordinated with mass media agencies to produce many reports, videos, and clips promoting Tam Dao National Park; build experiential tours in the National Park; and build souvenir booths from typical products of Tam Dao mountains and forests.

Coming to Tam Dao National Park, visitors can experience visiting Kem stream, Chat Dau valley, Bear Rescue Center...

The route is not too difficult, but visitors have to overcome many types of terrain, starting with forest trails, walking on monkey bridges, wading through slippery streams.

Propaganda and education activities to raise environmental awareness for students and the community are one of the important goals and tasks of Tam Dao National Park. The park has built a tour "Discovering the National Park with you" to attract students to visit and study.

Participating in the tour "Discovering the National Park with me", students learned about general information about the National Park; management and protection of Tam Dao National Park; learned about biological habits, identification characteristics of rare animals in the Vietnam and world Red Book, especially some precious medicinal herbs that are beneficial to health.

Children also practice skills such as setting up hammocks, taking down tents, finding shelter and escaping in the forest. Through these activities, children understand the role and value of forests in human life, practice life skills, survival skills in the forest, and enhance their responsibility in protecting forests and biodiversity.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Khai, Deputy Director of the Environmental Education Center, Tam Dao National Park said: "In addition to forest management and protection, Tam Dao National Park focuses on developing eco-tourism associated with rescue and conservation work in the park.

Coming to Tam Dao National Park, visitors can experience and explore the beauty of the primeval forest, participate in trekking, camping, fishing, bathing in streams...

On average, Tam Dao National Park welcomes 15,000 visitors each year to visit and experience. The center cooperates with restaurants and hotels around the area to introduce places to eat and stay for visitors from far away who need to stay overnight.

Currently, Tam Dao National Park has introduced to tourists typical souvenir products such as butterfly and insect specimens; dried flower and leaf paintings; the Azalea Baby mascot (a mascot designed specifically for Tam Dao National Park); shirt badges, key chains...

The products are well received and have positive feedback from tourists, showing positive signs in the development of ecotourism in Tam Dao National Park.

In the coming time, Tam Dao National Park will continue to implement many activities to promote ecotourism development, contribute to biodiversity conservation, and bring income to local people.
