On October 13, the leader of the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, Lam Dong Province announced that they would issue a decision to extend the temporary suspension of Ms. Nguyen Thai Quynh Nga - Principal of Trung Vuong Primary School for 15 days to await the results of the investigation from the investigation agency related to the case of people accusing 'dirty food' being smuggled into the school.

Previously, on September 24, the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat issued a decision to temporarily suspend Ms. Nga from work for a period of 15 working days. Ms. Nga was suspended from her position for not performing the work within her authority according to the assigned functions and tasks at Trung Vuong Primary School.
However, after 15 days, there were no official investigation results from the investigation agency, so the Ward People's Committee continued to extend the decision to temporarily suspend Ms. Nga's position. Mr. Nguyen Vinh Hien, Head of the Ward's Culture and Social Affairs Department, continued to temporarily take charge of Trung Vuong Primary School.
As Tien Phong reported, on September 16, after a petition was spread on social media accusing the Trung Vuong Primary School's boarding kitchen of repeatedly receiving unsafe food, dozens of parents came to the school to pick up their children to take home for lunch.

According to the complaint, from November 2024 to April 2025, the school's boarding kitchen had to receive substandard ingredients many times. The complaint stated: On November 21, 2024, the supplier delivered 10kg of smelly, green pork bones; on December 26, 2024, 35kg of unlabeled frozen beef balls with a strange smell were delivered, and 2 students vomited after the meal.
By March 2025, the kitchen team continued to complain about having to receive 50kg of pre-sliced beef that showed signs of being mixed with oil to increase its weight. Most recently, on April 15, 2025, the supplier delivered 40kg of boiled pork that turned green, and was then recorded for destruction. Notably, although the kitchen team repeatedly requested to change the supplier, the principal still did not approve.

At the meeting with parents on the evening of September 18, Ms. Nguyen Thai Quynh Nga - Principal of Trung Vuong Primary School, apologized to parents of boarding children and parents of the whole school. Ms. Nga said that the incident that happened at the school recently was not what anyone wanted.
