The case of a meal with only two pieces of ham for teachers in Ba Ria-Vung Tau: Comprehensive inspection of kindergartens

The inspection team consists of 12 members from the district's functional departments and offices, headed by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Huynh, Deputy Chief Inspector of the district. It is expected that next week, the team will officially announce the decision to inspect the school.

The inspection period is 30 days from the date of announcement (excluding holidays and days off as prescribed).

Previously, social media and the press reported that teachers at Anh Duong Kindergarten were upset that their lunch trays cost 30,000 VND but only had rice and 2 pieces of ham, with a little fish sauce. Some other trays had rice and a few pieces of meat stir-fried with bamboo shoots.

The incident happened a long time ago.

Immediately after the incident was raised, on the evening of September 17, Chairman of Chau Duc District People's Committee Nguyen Tan Ban had a dialogue with teachers and staff of Anh Duong Kindergarten.

At the dialogue, many teachers and staff of the school were upset and burst into tears when reflecting on the worst meals and the irregularities in the financial revenue and expenditure issues at the unit...

The incident dragged on, but no one dared to stand up and report it for fear of being persecuted and affecting their work.

On September 18, Chau Duc District People's Committee met with the district's functional departments and agreed to establish a comprehensive inspection team for Anh Duong Kindergarten.

Regarding this incident, Chairman of Chau Duc District People's Committee Nguyen Tan Ban said that on September 19, the district sent a document to functional departments, communes, wards and educational institutions in the area requesting them to learn from experience and strictly implement State regulations on finance, democratic regulations, public service regulations, guidance, inspection and supervision.
