According to information from Loc Binh Irrigation Works Exploitation Enterprise, implementing telegrams and instructions from superiors, from 4:30 p.m. on October 4, the unit proceeded to release water to lower the lake water level, proactively receive floods, and respond to storm No. 11. Accordingly, the unit opened 1 deep spillway (spillover No. 3) with a discharge flow of about 160 m3/s. It is known that the current lake water level is 302.96 m, the spillway threshold elevation is 294 m.
