Duong Quy commune launched a campaign to clean up the rural environment.

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Duong Quy commune, in coordination with socio-political organizations and the commune police force, organized a ceremony to clean up and sanitize the environment in the whole commune. The ceremony attracted over 500 participants.

At the launching ceremony, the commune government promoted people to limit the use of plastic waste, actively participate in common activities to preserve, protect, and clean the living environment... Strongly spread the message of green and clean living, contributing to building an increasingly rich and civilized homeland.

The launching ceremony of the environmental cleaning campaign aims to implement the Prime Minister 's Official Dispatch No. 849 dated August 13, 2025 on "Promoting waste collection, protecting and maintaining environmental sanitation nationwide" and local plans, aiming to create a clean, green and beautiful environment, a civilized, harmonious and unique new countryside and say no to plastic waste.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the forces simultaneously cleaned up, cleared bushes, dredged sewers, collected garbage on the roads: National Highway 279, 9 inter-village routes, the commune People's Committee headquarters and public places and beautified the rural landscape. On this occasion, many villages also organized the planting of banana flags, national flags, and planted flowers along the roadsides to create a clean, beautiful and civilized landscape.

It is known that previously, Duong Quy commune maintained the organization of cleaning and maintaining rural roads periodically once a week; removed environmental black spots periodically once a month; built household group garbage incinerators; 18/18 villages committed to taking action to join hands in protecting the living environment.
