Specifically, at some bridge items, the beam anchoring measures are still sketchy, the steel reinforcements are rusting. Workers at the construction site are not fully equipped with labor protection, and there is a lack of barriers and traffic safety signs.
Regarding quality management records, many work acceptance records and construction diaries lack information; bridge bearing records have not been fully provided; some test forms and acceptance records lack the signature of the supervising consultant.
Besides, some field laboratories do not meet the requirements on premises, operating procedures, and even miss necessary information...
Faced with the above situation, the Department of Roads requested the My Thuan Project Management Board to urgently direct consultants and contractors to supplement quality management records, promptly approve adjusted designs, and immediately rectify labor safety and traffic safety.
Construction contractors must strictly comply with technical procedures, provide complete acceptance records and construction diaries, strengthen material control, and provide protective equipment for workers.
The supervising consultant must be responsible for signing and confirming all acceptance records, and not allowing the acceptance stage to pass without ensuring quality.
The Department of Roads requires units to study and review the design and traffic organization plans at some connecting locations of the service road with Cao Lanh, Lap Vo, and Vam Cong bridges to improve traffic safety on the route after the project is accepted and put into use.
Units also need to coordinate with local authorities to find solutions to handle locations that violate road corridors and households that illegally connect to the main route, to handle them according to regulations, to ensure the separation of motorbikes and rudimentary vehicles from the main route according to the approved traffic organization plan of the project.
