Lam Ca commune receives certificate of recognition for meeting new rural standards

​ – On February 29, Lam Ca commune, Dinh Lap district held a ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition as a commune meeting new rural standards in 2023.

Authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the leader of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development awarded the certificate of recognition of the commune meeting the NTM standards to Lam Ca commune.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Giap Thi Bac, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission.

Lam Ca is a mountainous commune 34 km south of Dinh Lap district center. The commune has 17 villages, 985 households and 3,821 people, with 10 ethnic groups living together. When starting to build a new rural area, the commune still faced many difficulties such as: limited development of economic models, low living standards of the people; uneven development of intellectual level; lack of infrastructure...

Collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement " Lang Son and the whole country build new rural areas" in 2023.

With the attention, direction and guidance of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, the Party Committee and the communal government have promoted propaganda and mobilized the cooperation and contribution of local people to overcome difficulties in building new rural areas. The whole commune has mobilized people to contribute over 3.4 billion VND, donated 7,852 m2 of land to build rural roads, build cultural houses, etc. By the end of 2023, the commune has completed 19/19 new rural criteria.

Along with changes in infrastructure, local people have actively developed economic models such as: afforestation, semi-grazing cattle breeding model, etc. Thereby, contributing to increasing income and improving people's lives. In 2023, the average income per capita of the commune reached 43.65 million VND/person/year.

Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, the People's Committee of the commune will continue to synchronously and effectively implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction associated with restructuring the agricultural sector; maintain and improve the quality of achieved criteria, strive to build a commune that meets advanced New Rural standards.

On this occasion, 1 individual and 2 collectives in Lam Ca commune received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Lang Son and the whole country build new rural areas" in 2023. In addition, collectives and individuals with achievements in building new rural areas were awarded certificates of merit by the Chairman of Dinh Lap District People's Committee and Lam Ca Commune People's Committee.
