Nam Nung Commune was established on the basis of merging Nam Nung and Nam N'dir communes (old). Since August 26, the People's Committee of Nam Nung commune has piloted the implementation of two administrative procedures on granting marriage status certificates, shortening the time from 3 days to 1 day; adjusting the cessation of social pension benefits, shortening the time from 10 days to 1 day.

Secretary of the Party Committee of Nam Nung Commune, Ngo Thu Huong, affirmed that the unit's collective is always united, overcoming difficulties to smoothly operate the new commune-level apparatus.

The Party Committee of Nam Nung Commune was established under Decision No. 1860, dated June 19, 2025 of the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee. Currently, the Party Committee of the commune has 27 affiliated party organizations with 528 party members. In July 2025, the Party Committee of the commune successfully held the 1st Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

At the working session, Nam Nung commune proposed that the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee lead and direct competent authorities to provide guidance on the General Planning and Land Use Planning to serve as a basis for adjusting the planning and implementing works and projects in the commune; consider including in the Medium-Term Public Investment Plan a number of key projects on office buildings, Nam Nung High School; Dak Ruc Irrigation Reservoir project; and Krong No River embankment project to prevent landslides.

The leaders of the Department of Home Affairs discussed some local recommendations within their authority.

The province is interested in investing in and upgrading software systems and digital infrastructure to facilitate management and better serve the needs of people and businesses. The locality also recommends that the competent authorities soon issue guidelines for organizing the implementation of commune-level cadre planning; a framework of standards for leadership positions in a number of specialized agencies and commune-level staff; and guidelines for internal political protection...

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luu Van Trung acknowledged the efforts of Nam Nung commune in the initial steps of operating the new commune-level government model, and shared the difficulties the locality is facing. He emphasized that in the transitional period, the new commune-level government will take on a large amount of work, which means more pressure.

However, when everything is on track and operating stably, the pressure will decrease. Comrade Luu Van Trung requested: "There is still a lot of work to do, so the cadres, civil servants and public employees of the commune need to be calm, do it step by step; at the same time, they need to uphold the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, unity, and make the highest effort to complete all assigned tasks well."

Regarding the erosion of the Krong No riverbank, comrade Luu Van Trung recognized that the main causes were climate change and sand mining activities. Therefore, departments, branches and localities need to urgently research and advise on effective solutions, and resolutely prevent illegal sand mining.

In order for the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term to come into life, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that for each key task, each breakthrough, and each set target, the locality must issue a specific plan, with the motto "clear people, clear work, clear time, clear results, clear responsibilities", not equalizing or generalizing. The work of cadres, appointments, and rotations must be carried out strictly, in accordance with procedures, regulations, and requirements, "right role, right lesson".
