Phu Tan Commune is reinforcing the landslide on the east bank of the school ditch, ensuring safety for people.

On August 9, the People's Committee of Phu Tan commune (An Giang province) organized the construction of reinforcement of the landslide section on the eastern bank of the school canal in My Hoa 2 hamlet, Phu Tan commune, to ensure traffic safety and serve the travel needs of the people.

Construction to reinforce the landslide section on the east bank of the school canal, in My Hoa 2 hamlet, Phu Tan commune.

The eroded canal section is about 45m long, affecting the travel and daily activities of households living in the area.

The project is expected to be completed within 4 days with the following items: Reinforcing the dike foot with steel sheet piles, combining reinforced concrete piles and eucalyptus piles, B40 mesh, reinforcing the ground and spreading roadbed stones..., with a total cost of over 200 million VND from landslide recovery and socialized sources.

The construction of reinforcement of the landslide section on the east bank of the school canal not only contributes to protecting the safety of people living in the area, but also has important significance in maintaining the irrigation system serving agricultural production and protecting rural traffic infrastructure.
