Building a healthy cultural life at the grassroots level

In the past 5 years, as life has developed, cultural and artistic activities have taken place vigorously, becoming a useful spiritual food attracting a large number of members of mass organizations in Phu Xa 4 residential group, Tich Luong ward to participate. Thereby contributing to building a healthy cultural life and spreading the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" at the grassroots level.

Although "homegrown", the performances by the elderly members of Phu Xa 4 residential group, Tich Luong ward, were quite beautiful.

To serve the cultural program to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20) this year, for more than 2 weeks, every day the cultural house of Phu Xa 4 residential group has been filled with singing and music. Although it is just a "homegrown" cultural program, the women's association members still practice very seriously to ensure the most perfect performances.

Ms. Duong Thi Suu, Head of the Women's Association of Phu Xa 4 residential group, said: Currently, the Association has 180 members. Most members actively participate in clubs established by the Women's Association, including raising good children, "5 no, 3 clean", health care, physical education - sports , and arts. To develop the cultural and artistic movement, we encourage members to regularly practice folk dancing, and participate in performing arts during cultural festivals, holidays, and Tet...

After the celebration of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20, the women continued to participate in practicing the art program to celebrate the National Great Unity Day (November 18) organized by the residential group.

The Women's Association's performing arts team was established on a voluntary basis. The women contributed their own funds for operations, purchased or rented costumes and props for the performances, but everyone was enthusiastic and responsible.

Ms. Tran Thi Ly, a women's association member, said: We hope that the "homegrown" songs, dances and melodies will create a widespread influence, bringing a joyful and exciting atmosphere to the community, building a healthy and positive cultural life. This is also an opportunity for women to meet and share the joys and sorrows in life; be confident and active in building a prosperous and happy life and increasingly attached to the activities of the association and the locality...

Not only the Women's Union, but also other mass organizations (Seniors, Youth Union, Veterans...) of the group have strongly developed mass cultural and artistic movements among their members. Most mass organizations have shock art teams and regularly active groups.

At the art performances, many cultural and artistic performances, although "self-directed and self-performed", were evaluated by the audience as being of good quality. Even through each art performance, in addition to the performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland and the country, the mass actors of the residential group also cleverly incorporated skits to propagate the contents of the implementation of the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies.

In reality, culture and arts play an important role in the spiritual life of the people. Ms. Do Thi Ha, Secretary of the Party Cell of Phu Xa 4 residential group, said: The Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress clearly stated that "Cultural development is the spiritual foundation" and set out the key task of the term as "arousing the aspiration for national development, prosperity and happiness; promoting cultural values ​​and the strength of the Vietnamese people in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, international integration... Therefore, the Party Cell always pays attention to directing mass organizations to promote cultural and artistic programs, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people.

When people's spiritual life is improved, they clearly understand their responsibility in forming a civilized and modern lifestyle, actively developing family economy and joining hands to maintain political security and social order and safety in the locality.

Thanks to that, over the past 5 years, every year the residential group has had over 99% of households meeting the Cultural Family standard (the group currently has over 230 households). Phu Xa 4 residential group has been recognized for many consecutive years as meeting the cultural standard...
