Building Thai Nguyen into a modern, high-income industrial center

Thai Nguyen Party Committee deploys synchronous solutions on infrastructure, industry, high-tech agriculture and human resources, striving to increase GRDP, aiming to become a modern industrial province before 2030.

On the afternoon of September 23, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee closed the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030.

According to the Resolution of the 1st Congress, term 2025-2030, approved by delegates, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee aims to strengthen the building of a clean and strong Party and political system, streamline the apparatus, operate effectively and efficiently; and ensure national defense and security.

The province promotes the tradition of solidarity, breakthroughs in rapid, unique and sustainable development; builds synchronous and modern infrastructure; develops high-quality human resources; comprehensively improves people's lives, builds Thai Nguyen into a modern industrial center with high average income before 2030, and strives to become a developed province with high income before 2045.

The entire Party strives to achieve a number of key targets such as: Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices by 2030 reaching 361.6 trillion VND; economic growth rate (GRDP) at average comparable prices from 10.5%/year or higher.

Average GRDP per capita by 2030 will reach 220 million VND. By 2030, the rate of trained workers will reach over 75% (of which 38% or more will have degrees and certificates)...

Regarding Party building work, the province strives to have over 90% of grassroots Party organizations and Party members evaluated and classified as having completed their tasks well or better each year. The rate of new Party members admitted each year is 3% or more compared to the total number of Party members of the Provincial Party Committee at the beginning of the term...

To complete the set targets, the Provincial Party Committee focuses on implementing a number of key tasks such as: Continuing to thoroughly grasp, build and rectify the Party and the political system to be clean and strong; implementing the arrangement and organization of a streamlined, strong, efficient, effective and efficient apparatus; building a team of cadres with qualities and capacities to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

The province pays attention to investing in building a synchronous and modern socio-economic infrastructure; focusing resources on building, renovating and upgrading key traffic routes, connecting regions, routes associated with tourist, service and resort areas, and developing synchronous rural infrastructure.

The locality pays attention to investing in essential service infrastructure in remote areas, ethnic minority areas, promoting the development of information technology infrastructure, telecommunications, digital infrastructure, and data infrastructure; promoting restructuring of the agricultural sector associated with production linkages, developing high-tech agriculture, clean and organic agriculture; improving product quality and value and promoting processing, domestic consumption, and export of key agricultural products.

The province continues to synchronously implement solutions for cultural, social, educational and health development; ensure social security, improve people's quality of life; continue to effectively implement sustainable poverty reduction, increase income, develop family economy, reduce multidimensional poverty, encourage legal enrichment; strengthen tourism promotion; develop tourism products associated with people, culture, national identity...

In his closing speech at the Congress, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee Trinh Viet Hung emphasized that, in order to complete the set goals and tasks, immediately after the Congress, Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations must well organize the research, dissemination and dissemination of the resolution's contents to every cadre, Party member, civil servant, public employee, union member, member of the armed forces and all classes of people.

Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations develop specific programs and action plans to ensure clear identification of people, work, responsibilities, progress and results, and quickly bring the Resolution into life, creating strong and effective changes in all areas right from the first months and years of implementing the Resolution.
