According to initial information, at around 5am, the container truck was traveling on the Vinh Hao-Phan Thiet expressway , north-south, passing through Luong Son commune. When reaching Km181, the driver discovered smoke and fire coming from the front of the vehicle.

Immediately, the driver quickly turned the wheel to the side of the road and left the cabin. Within minutes, the tractor was engulfed in flames. Upon receiving the news, the local Fire and Rescue Team dispatched a specialized vehicle to the scene to extinguish the fire.

Traffic Police Force of Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 (Department 6, Traffic Police Department) and the route management unit quickly arrived at the scene to regulate traffic.

A rescue crane was also dispatched to the scene to remove the burned vehicle from the scene.
