Remove the position of Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee for Mr. Nguyen Ngoc

Accordingly, disciplinary action was taken in the form of removing the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province for the 2011-2016 term for Mr. Nguyen Ngoc, former Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province, due to violations and shortcomings in his work and the Secretariat had taken party discipline.

The disciplinary period is calculated from the date of announcement of Decision No. 1510-QDNS/TW dated August 27, 2024 of the Secretariat on party discipline enforcement.

Previously, the Inspection Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee (term XIV) held its 39th session.

At this meeting, the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee reviewed and concluded that in 2015, as Vice Chairman of the Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc lacked responsibility in performing assigned tasks and agreed with the land price plan proposed by the Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

Mr. Ngoc advised the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to sign and issue Decision No. 3371/QD-UBND dated November 25, 2015, approving specific land prices to calculate land use fees for 363,523.6 square meters of land use purpose conversion permitted for the Phan Thiet coastal urban tourism project without sufficient basis according to the provisions of law, causing great damage to the State budget.
