A parent had to appear in court after storming into the classroom to scold and threaten his child's classmates.

In March of this year, while picking up his daughter from school in Paulsboro (New Jersey, USA), Aaron Thomas (38 years old) heard his daughter talk about being bullied by a male student, so he went to his daughter's classroom to talk to the male student.

The whole incident was recorded by another student, according to which, Thomas expressed his anger towards the male student and demanded that the teenager apologize to his daughter immediately.

The boy repeatedly said he had done nothing wrong and would not apologize. Thomas's attitude became increasingly uncontrollable and he used inappropriate language towards the teenager.

Several other boys in the class came forward to defend their classmate. At this point, Thomas turned around and yelled at the other boys.

Finally, a male teacher appeared and pulled Thomas out of the classroom. The teacher told Thomas: "This is not a serious matter that requires you to behave like this." However, Thomas could not control himself, he continued to make many threats and used harsh language in front of the students.

As Thomas was leaving the classroom, a male student ran after him and provoked him, causing Thomas to return to the classroom and get into a fight with the student who provoked him.

The whole incident is said to have started when Thomas’s daughter and a male student had a disagreement over some photos that Thomas’s daughter shared with her friends. The content of the photos was not disclosed. The male student’s actions towards Thomas’s daughter were also not made public by the court.

However, Thomas's intrusion into the classroom and his threatening behavior toward several male students has led to him facing charges including misdemeanor assault, trespassing, and causing a disturbance at school.

The school said they did not call the police immediately but let the incident pass for nearly 3 hours before reporting the matter to local police.

The male teacher who directly intervened to stop Thomas in the incident said he did not want to call the school security guard, because the situation would become more tense and both sides would be more agitated. The male teacher believed he could handle the situation. The school security guard only learned about the incident after Thomas had left.

Thomas was detained by the police on the afternoon of the incident. A day later, his family came to pay bail for his release. Authorities asked Thomas not to have any contact with the male students involved in the incident, nor their families, while awaiting trial.

In the latest trial held earlier this week, Thomas asserted that he was not at fault in the assault on the male student. Because Thomas did not plead guilty, his case will continue to be examined by the court from witnesses. The next trial will take place in November.

The incident attracted the attention and comments of the local public. Many people expressed sympathy for Thomas, because he was a father who wanted to protect his daughter. However, Thomas was not sober, he acted beyond what was necessary to get into trouble with the law.
