Vietnam's export and logistics shape strategy in new context

This is the central event in the series of events of the 3rd Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition (VILOG 2025) organized under the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Attending the workshop, delegates and experts shared with businesses the content of strategies to respond to geopolitical fluctuations and non-tariff barriers. Solutions to improve logistics capacity, optimize export activities in new generation FTAs. Identify opportunities from key export industries such as: seafood, wood products, transportation - seaports.

In the discussion, experts assessed the difficulties and advantages when the United States imposed reciprocal tariffs on most countries in the world , with Vietnam being subject to a 20% tax rate. This is considered an acceptable tax rate in the current context.

With the new tax rate, businesses need to have solutions to quickly adapt to the market, including finding cooperation opportunities, exploiting advantages to boost exports. At the same time, they need to find ways to reduce costs, apply technology to production and business, build an autonomous supply chain...
