The National Competition Commission has just decided to fine 395 million VND to 2 multi-level marketing companies, Kyowon The Orm Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Total Swiss Vietnam Co., Ltd., for not complying with regulations on multi-level marketing activities.

The total amount of fines that Kyowon The Orm Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Total Swiss Vietnam Co., Ltd. must pay is up to 395 million VND.

In particular, Kyowon The Orm Vietnam Company was fined VND 255 million for the following acts: Not properly implementing procedures to amend and supplement the multi-level sales registration certificate; Conducting multi-level sales activities in some localities without being granted a confirmation of registration for multi-level sales activities in the locality by the Department of Industry and Trade; Not properly implementing the registered operating rules; Not properly implementing regulations on notifying the list of trainers; Assigning trainers who do not meet the conditions to conduct basic training for multi-level sales participants; Not properly implementing the reporting responsibilities of the enterprise.

Total Swiss Vietnam Company was fined 140 million VND for the following acts: Assigning trainers who do not meet the conditions to conduct basic training for multi-level marketing participants; Not properly conducting basic training for multi-level marketing participants according to the provisions of law; Not properly performing the reporting responsibilities of the enterprise.
