In recent days, prolonged heavy rain in Dak Plo commune has increased the risk of landslides.

In Róok Mét village, a crack 5-15cm wide, 40-50cm deep, and nearly 200m long appeared on a hill near a residential area. People in this area are growing cassava and coffee.
At the foot of the hill about 40m high is where people live, behind the houses there have also appeared long cracks in the ground.
A total of 12 households with 54 people are facing the risk of losing their homes, property and lives if a landslide occurs.

Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh, Chairman of Dak Plo Commune People's Committee, said that to ensure the safety of households, the commune has immediately relocated these households to stay with relatives and is ready to provide necessities.
In the long term, the commune will coordinate with relevant departments and branches to study resettlement plans for people.
