Two men attacked Cat Lai ferry staff, causing chaos

On November 8, a clip appeared on social media recording two men parking their motorbikes in the opposite lane going down to Cat Lai ferry and then continuously cursing and attacking ferry staff.

This clip was recorded by camera on the afternoon of November 4 at Cat Lai ferry terminal (in Phu Huu commune, Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province).

According to the clip, two men were riding a motorbike (one without a helmet and the other wearing a sports cap) carrying a large box of goods. The man sitting behind got off the motorbike to push the barrier up to let the motorbike pass but was unsuccessful.

Then, the two men parked their motorbikes and walked towards the staff, hitting them repeatedly. When people tried to stop them, the two men continued to point and curse at the staff.

Not stopping there, one of the two men also used a chair to hit the back and head of the male employee of the Youth Volunteer Public Service Company Limited.

These two men continued to curse and cause chaos at the Cat Lai ferry terminal on the Nhon Trach side.

A representative of the Cat Lai Ferry Management Company confirmed that at that time, there was a scuffle between two men and a Cat Lai ferry employee. After the incident, the unit reported it to the Phu Huu Commune Police for handling.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Giang Huong, Chairwoman of Nhon Trach District People's Committee, said that she had received information and directed the handling of the incident.
