(NLDO) - 21 officers who are heads and deputy heads of police departments in districts and towns in a province have voluntarily written applications for early retirement.
On February 19, Son La Provincial Police announced the decision to resign from work according to personal wishes for police leaders and commanders at department and district levels.

At the announcement ceremony, Colonel Dang Trong Cuong, Director of Son La Provincial Police, handed over the decision to retire from work and enjoy retirement benefits from March 1 to 21 leaders at the department and district levels, including 7 department heads and 14 deputy department heads, deputy district police chiefs and members of the Inspection Committee of the Son La Provincial Police Party Committee.
It is known that among the 21 leaders and commanders retiring this time, some have worked for more than 40 years in the police force and are Party members for about 30 years. These are officers who have voluntarily applied for early retirement, some have worked for more than 40 years in the People's Public Security force.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Dang Trong Cuong, Director of Son La Provincial Police, commended 21 officers who had excellently completed their assigned tasks, retired from work, and enjoyed retirement benefits according to regulations. At the same time, he acknowledged the important work results and contributions of the officers, contributing to the overall achievements of the provincial police over the past time.
