Sub-project 2 has allocated more than 690 thousand m³, 92% of the contract has been signed and more than 60% has been brought to the construction site.
Long Thanh International Airport project has a demand of about 4.9 million m³, up to now, 75% of contracts have been signed with quarries and about 60% have been brought to the construction site.

In addition, many key projects inside and outside the province have also sent documents requesting the Provincial People's Committee to support the allocation of tens of thousands to millions of cubic meters of construction stone. The Department of Agriculture and Environment has introduced stone quarries in the province for units to proactively work with.
Also according to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the province has 23/33 quarries eligible to increase capacity under a special mechanism (increase 50% capacity compared to the granted license) in exploitation to serve key projects: Long Thanh International Airport, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway and Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang said: The volume of construction materials the province has allocated to investors is basically guaranteed. Regarding the filling materials, there are no more problems. The Department of Agriculture and Environment continues to monitor, and the material mines that have supplied enough volume for the project should propose to temporarily close or adjust to the project.
Regarding construction stone, the Department of Agriculture and Environment is required to continue reviewing and encouraging qualified and capable enterprises to increase mining capacity according to special mechanisms to ensure construction stone sources for key projects. At the same time, the Department requests management boards and investors to issue documents requesting contractors to proactively contact neighboring localities to seek additional stone sources.
Regarding some detailed legal procedures, quarry owners proactively contacted the Department of Agriculture and Environment and People's Committees of wards and communes for support.
