Minh Khoi is a former student of Nguyen Trai High School, Khanh Hoa . Khoi scored 1,112/1,200 points in the capacity assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University, in which he got a perfect score of 300 in Math; 269 in Vietnamese; 270 in English; and 273 in Scientific Thinking.
In the graduation exam, Khoi scored 27.25 points in block A01 with two 10s in Math and Physics and 7.25 points in English. The male student had an IELTS score of 6.5, which was converted to 10 points in English.

“Learning from mistakes is the fastest way to improve,” Minh Khoi shared. He believes that each mistake is an opportunity to review and improve his knowledge. When practicing, Khoi not only tries to get high scores but also to discover his weaknesses and spend time reviewing the parts that are easy to make mistakes. With the concept of learning to understand the essence instead of memorizing mechanically, the most important thing for Khoi is to learn correctly instead of studying a lot, and especially not to overload himself.
The male student chose Computer Science because he realized this was his passion since grade 10. That was when he first wrote a simple program in Python to solve a problem online. From then on, Khoi learned other programming languages, joined some computer clubs at school, online, especially forums sharing about programming and technology, and STEM competitions organized by the school.
Mai Quang Minh Tri - Valedictorian of the 2025 competency assessment exam, runner-up of the comprehensive admission method, new student majoring in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Minh Tri was the valedictorian of the National High School for the Gifted in Hue , three years ago. Although he scored 1,047 points in the first aptitude test, Tri still took the test a second time, hoping for a better result in the Math section. In the second test, Minh Tri got a perfect score of 300 in the Math section; 284 points in the Scientific Thinking section, 260 points in the English section, and 278 points in the Vietnamese section. In the recent high school exam, Minh Tri scored 27.25 points in the A01 block.
The male student determined that Mathematics is not only a passion, but also has both joy and sadness. Having failed the national excellent student exam for grade 11, Minh Tri hesitated between continuing to pursue the national Math competition or switching to reviewing for the competency assessment and high school graduation exam.

“I realized that I should study the final exam subjects very carefully because this is the foundation for both exams. In addition, a few months before the competency assessment exam, I can focus on reviewing specific sections and practice more. I should not study too much for a single exam because it will have many potential risks,” Tri said.
After many failures, Tri realized that the old halo will gradually fade, only continuous effort, perseverance and learning from failure are the keys to success on the new path.

In addition, during his studies in class and at home, Huy always tried to concentrate, and only entertained himself and recharged his energy after finishing his studies.
The new student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering said that when he goes to university, he will try to study well and get a scholarship to encourage his studies. After each test, Huan will summarize his mistakes so as not to make them again. In addition, he pays attention to his health, keeps his mind stable and does not study too much close to the exam day.

Gia Huan's top priority is to be assigned to the Microcircuit Design major, so he will try to build a foundation of knowledge in general subjects, while also learning thoroughly about related specialized subjects.
