Choice of two top students of A00 combination nationwide

TPO - Nguyen Le Hien Mai and Nguyen Dieu Linh, two national valedictorians of group A00, officially arrived at Foreign Trade University.

On the morning of September 17, Foreign Trade University held a ceremony to welcome the new school year 2025-2026, welcoming more than 3,000 new students of the 64th course.

The special point of the ceremony was that for the first time, the 10 national valedictorians and the entire school valedictorians stood on stage together, representing the new students and trainees, sharing their feelings, expectations and goals on the upcoming 4-year university journey.

Associate Professor Dr. Pham Thu Huong, Principal of Foreign Trade University, on behalf of the school's board of directors, honored the 10 valedictorians this year.

Nguyen Le Hien Mai, the national valedictorian of group A00, has officially become a new student at the Foreign Trade University, the person who once caused a "storm" on the internet because she is both talented and pretty. Hien Mai is also one of the 10 valedictorians of the Foreign Trade University this year.

Hien Mai is a former student of the Chemistry class at Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted ( Phu Tho ). During her high school years, this female student won many impressive achievements such as: First prize in the provincial excellent student competition in Chemistry (grade 9), and was directly admitted to the Chemistry class at Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted. During her three years in high school, Hien Mai always maintained a stable performance with a GPA above 9.5, in which the three subjects in the A00 group often achieved from 9.8 to 10 points.

Speaking at the ceremony, Hien Mai sent the message: "Don't compare yourself with anyone else. Be confident, steadfast, and steady, because each individual is a unique version of themselves, and deserves a unique crown."

Nguyen Dieu Linh, the valedictorian with 30/30 points in the A00 combination this year, also chose the Foreign Economics major at the Foreign Trade University. Dieu Linh is a former student of class 12A1 at Nguyen Trai High School, Hung Yen (formerly Vu Thu district, Thai Binh ).

Dieu Linh was born into a farming family. Since going to school, Linh has always been proactive in studying. Since grade 10 of high school, Linh has oriented to study block A00 with the dream of entering Foreign Trade University and becoming a businesswoman in the future.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thu Huong - President of Foreign Trade University - advised the new students: "Entering the university environment is entering the journey of "learning to master" our own growth process, when we will gradually define more clearly the "path" that we truly want to choose, when we understand more clearly what our dreams are and what we must do to achieve that dream. You should start your journey by practicing doing a "difficult task" for yourself every day because when we practice doing difficult tasks, we are also training our own courage and discovering our own abilities, when you seek and promote excellence in each individual."
