On the evening of August 10, the "national concert" titled Fatherland in the Heart took place at My Dinh Stadium, attracting 50,000 spectators who filled the stadium with the red flag with yellow star. This is a cultural and political event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The stage was specially designed in a V shape, divided into sections: Independence - Freedom - Happiness - Red flag with yellow star. Thousands of spectators arrived early to join in the vibrant atmosphere of the artistic event imbued with national pride.
Fatherland in the Heart features the participation of artists: People's Artist Thu Huyen, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Tung Duong, Vo Ha Tram, Toc Tien, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Ha Le, Dong Hung, Thanh Duy, Suboi, Oplus Group, Xtreme Power Group, HT Art Troupe, Sao Tuoi Tho Children's Group, and soldiers of Army Officer School 1.
The opening act - the song Tien Quan Ca by musician Van Cao was performed enthusiastically by the soldiers of the 1st Army Officer School and the Sao Tuoi Tho children's group on the bright red V-shaped stage with the harmony of 50,000 spectators at My Dinh Stadium, making millions of TV viewers moved and proud.
The Fatherland in the Heart opened with a medley of revolutionary songs: August 19 - National Defense Army - The Road We Travel (Xuan Oanh, Phan Huynh Dieu, Huy Du) performed by Dang Duong, Tung Duong, Vo Ha Tram and the HT art troupe. All three artists chose red costumes symbolizing the color of the national flag.
As shared by musician Nguyen Huu Vuong, the song Len Dang by musician Luu Huu Phuoc was re-arranged in a rock style with a fiery performance by singer Dong Hung, Xtreme Power group. Next, the medley Ho keo phao - Duong len tien truong (Hoang Van, Tien Minh) continued to be performed by Dong Hung with impressive drum beats to interact with the audience and ended with a 105mm howitzer firing.
Next, Vo Ha Tram brought a profound atmosphere with the song Mother loves her child (Nguyen Van Ty) which had caused a fever when it was re-staged in the program Brother overcomes thousands of obstacles. The on-stage effect with the image of gratitude to martyrs, veterans, and heroic Vietnamese mothers moved tens of thousands of audiences and made them appreciate the value of peace today more. The female singer continued to bring to the audience two familiar songs Song of Hope - Aspiration (Van Ky, Pham Minh Tuan) in collaboration with Ha Le.
Particularly impressed with the performance “The Country is Full of Joy” by singer Dang Duong, the audience at My Dinh Stadium passed around a giant national flag. The image of the dance troupe holding the flag on stage along with the fireworks created a majestic and eye-catching performance.
Chapter 2 - "Proud Melody" depicts the bravery of modern Vietnam with the appearance of 68 soldiers of Army Officer School 1 reenacting the parade at Red Square (Russia), making 50,000 spectators cheer with pride.
Immediately after that, Tung Duong returned to the stage with Pride Melody (Pham Hong Bien) and performed for the first time the billion-view song Continue the story of peace by Nguyen Van Chung. Tung Duong asked the audience to turn on the flash but without anyone telling them, everyone sang along with the male singer with rising national pride.
The Fatherland in the Heart continued to make the audience burst into tears with the song "Will Win" (Nguyen Hai Phong) performed by the Oplus group with the appearance of 5 typical athletes including: Le Van Cong, Nguyen Thi Anh Vien, Nguyen Quang Hai, Nguyen Ngoc Tram, Pham Quang Huy on stage in red shirts with yellow stars. Without anyone telling anyone, the 50,000 spectators then shouted "Vietnam is the champion".
The medley "Homeland Vietnam" - "Beautiful Vietnam" by the group Oplus, along with Suboi's impressive rap and the performance "Nguoi Viet" by Ha Le, ended the heroic chapter 2.
Chapter 3 - "Homeland in the Heart" with future-oriented content imbued with youthful spirit with the extremely attractive performance "I Love Vietnam" by Noo Phuoc Thinh.
Thanh Duy continued the program with a performance imbued with national culture with Kiep sau van nguoi Viet Nam (Nguyen Sy Tuan/Tuan Cry) in collaboration with People's Artist Thu Huyen of the Cheo field, which was staged in a very modern and trendy way for young people.
"Beautiful sister" Toc Tien said that although she had performed at My Dinh Stadium many times, she had never been this nervous. Tung Duong returned to set the stage of the Fatherland in my heart on fire with the hits One Round of Vietnam and Aspiration of Youth, full of enthusiasm and fire, with Toc Tien.
The Fatherland in the Heart ended with the song "As if Uncle Ho were here on the day of great victory" (Pham Tuyen) with a unique combination of Tung Duong and all the artists together set off eye-catching fireworks to emphasize "The Fatherland in the Heart is forever the guiding light".
The artists closed the show with the song "Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh ".
