64 giant Mid-Autumn Festival lanterns on the opening night of Thanh Tuyen Festival 2023

Tuyen Quang - 64 giant, colorful Mid-Autumn lantern models were paraded in Thanh Tuyen Festival Night 2023. The models were inspired by historical figures and fairy tales.
On the evening of September 23, at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square ( Tuyen Quang City), the Thanh Tuyen Festival took place. At the event, 64 giant lantern models were paraded before the excitement of many tourists. The lantern models are elaborately designed with different sizes. Inspired by historical figures, zodiac animals, stilt houses... Among the Mid-Autumn lantern models participating in the parade, 56 models are from residential groups in Tuyen Quang City. The rest are from Binh Thuan Province and districts in the province. Model lantern cars carrying children parade at Thanh Tuyen Night Festival. Most of the lanterns are made of decal paper or fabric to be waterproof with a system of colorful electric lights. Mr. Nguyen Quang Khanh (Cau Giay, Hanoi ) said: "My family brought our children here to play early. This is the first time my children have seen such giant and beautiful Mid-Autumn lantern models. They are very excited about these models." Children attending Thanh Tuyen Festival were delighted to admire the Mid-Autumn lantern models. The lantern models are designed by the locals themselves, with funny shapes, close to children. This is also the highlight that makes the Mid-Autumn Festival of Tuyen Quang unique. According to Mr. Nguyen Van Son - Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee, after nearly 20 years of maintaining and developing, Thanh Tuyen Festival has truly become a unique, distinctive and distinctive tourism product of the province.
