Who will continue the work of journalist Ta Bich Loan at VTV?

On November 29, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - General Director of Vietnam Television (VTV) - presented the decision to appoint Ms. Bui Thu Thuy - Deputy Head of Entertainment Program Production Department to be in charge of managing the Entertainment Program Production Department.

Previously, the General Director of Vietnam Television handed over the retirement decision to journalist Ta Thi Bich Loan - Member of the Party Committee of Vietnam Television, Party Secretary, Head of the Entertainment Program Production Department. Journalist Ta Thi Bich Loan will retire from December 1, 2024.

Editor Thu Thuy was one of 20 people who passed the entrance exam to VTV3 when the channel was just separated in 1997. Sharing with the press, she said that she had just graduated for a year and was working at a magazine when she applied to VTV3.

“My application was also introduced by a close friend of mine who was working at VTV1 channel. At that time, I had just graduated from school and was dreaming of becoming a prominent newspaper reporter when I suddenly switched to television.

Journalist Nguyen Hanh, who was in charge of selecting the initial profile at that time, noted the highlights in my profile such as: valedictorian of journalism, graduated with honors... so I was noticed (laughs). But what impressed her more and I only found out later was that I wrote a very modest application, the gist of which was that I hoped VTV3 would give me a chance to try out... " - Editor Bui Thu Thuy recounted.

After that, she became a familiar face to many television audiences through the program Sunday at home, one of VTV's family television programs.

Games that connect family members' feelings, useful knowledge and tips for housewives have made this program an indispensable spiritual food every Sunday afternoon.

When asked about her memories during her time as MC for the program O Nha Chu Sunday , she expressed: “ I am a person who loves to share. I want everyone to know the best things.

I really enjoyed the time I did this program because I found the little tips I learned through life experiences and reading in books and newspapers, and I applied them to guide everyone in the Sunday Home program.

Then the audience will give me feedback on how they have successfully used those tips. That's when I feel happiest."

MC Thu Thuy has a natural, intelligent and attractive hosting style. She has been a companion of Sunday at home for 9 years and is considered the "soul" of this program.

After completing her role as host for the program O Nha Chu Sunday, MC Bui Thu Thuy continued to work with VTV3 channel and spent time studying abroad.

She is in charge of directing the production of many programs such as: Let's choose the right price, Secret door, Magic hat, Road to Olympia, Golden bell... and recently Weekend appointment...
