At the workshop, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc said that OCOP products not only have commodity value but also crystallize the intelligence, identity and pride of the locality. "Bringing OCOP to the digital space not only opens up opportunities for economic growth but also promotes the image of the homeland to friends at home and abroad," Mr. Thuc emphasized.
According to the Vice Chairman of An Giang Province, digital commerce is becoming an inevitable trend, helping OCOP products reach from villages to national and international markets. Advantages such as transparency, traceability, access to online consumer behavior, along with low costs and high communication efficiency, will be the driving force for OCOP to develop sustainably.
For An Giang, a locality with strengths in agriculture, fisheries and tourism, the application of digital platforms will contribute to increasing income for farmers, cooperatives and businesses, while affirming its position on the digital economic map of the Mekong Delta region.

This is considered a turning point in the process of digitizing OCOP products, specialties and tourism services, linking agriculture - industry - trade - tourism, towards the goal of sustainable development.
An Giang also affirmed that it will accompany businesses, cooperatives and production households in overcoming difficulties in capital, technology and quality standards. It will promote digital transformation in production and business. The province is committed to promoting the spirit of regional linkage and cooperating with localities in the Mekong Delta to bring agricultural products and regional specialties to the international market.
In particular, Model 22 is expected to become a pioneering highlight, contributing to spreading experience and promoting the commercialization of OCOP products on digital platforms throughout the region.
