Andre Onana makes another silly mistake before being 'kicked' out of MU

Andre Onana is set to leave Old Trafford in the coming days, after he agreed a season-long loan move to Trabzonspor.

However, the 29-year-old goalkeeper will join the Turkish team in a state of severe lack of confidence, having made a mistake when returning to serve the national team.

Yesterday (September 9), Andre Onana and his teammates Mbeumo and Baleba had a difficult away trip to Cape Verde, the team competing for the top spot with Cameroon in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in Africa.

Despite being rated higher, Cameroon had to accept a 0-1 defeat, with the only goal conceded partly due to Andre Onana's fault.

The situation happened in the 53rd minute, the home striker - Rocha Livramento pushed the ball quickly past the last line of defense of Cameroon. Andre Onana should have rushed forward to narrow the opponent's shooting angle, but he chose to stay in the goal.

Livramento decided to kick the ball to score an easy goal for Cape Verde. The 1-0 victory helped this team surpass Cameroon on the rankings, with many opportunities to win a direct ticket to the 2026 World Cup finals.

As for Andre Onana and his teammates, the humiliating defeat dropped them to second place, possibly forcing them to enter the play-offs for a ticket to North and Central America next year.
