On August 16, the National Assembly Standing Committee organized the program "Returning to the source - Towards the future" in Tan Trao commune, Tuyen Quang province. National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended and spoke at the program.

This is an activity within the framework of the program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Tan Trao National Congress (August 16, 1945 - August 16, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2016).

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and delegates visited the thematic exhibition "From the Tan Trao National Congress to today's National Assembly".

The exhibition displays nearly 400 images and documents with content consisting of 4 parts: Part 1 - Tan Trao National Congress and the birth of the Vietnam National Assembly; Part 2 - Marks of the activities of the Vietnam National Assembly from 1946 to present; Part 3 - Party and State leaders with Tan Trao; Part 4 - Tan Trao today.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man presented gifts to Mr. Hoang Ngoc, the last living witness to join the National Salvation Children's Team, to welcome the National Congress.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh and Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh presented gifts to policy families and meritorious people.
