Aston Villa just closed the summer transfer window with two high-profile deals, Jadon Sancho and Harvey Elliott, from the two most successful clubs in English football.
In just the last few hours, the Birmingham team reached an agreement with Liverpool and MU about these two players, showing the ambition of coach Unai Emery.

First up was the Harvey Elliott deal. The 21-year-old midfielder left Liverpool in a deal worth £35m.
This is a permanent deal, but Liverpool also include a buy-back clause, in case Elliott explodes in the future and solves his injury problems.
With his skillful technique, vision and ability to play in midfield and on the wing, Elliott is expected to add depth to Villa's midfield.
Not stopping there, Aston Villa officials continued to close in on the "blockbuster" Jadon Sancho .
The England winger joins Villa on a season-long loan.
The financial agreement also attracted attention: Aston Villa will cover 80% of Sancho's salary, with the remaining 20% paid by MU.
In addition, the contract also includes a loan fee and some performance-based bonus terms (numbers not yet disclosed).
During the summer transfer window, Sancho received many offers from European football clubs, but all had problems with personal terms.
Now, by joining Aston Villa, Sancho has the chance to revive his career after a stagnant period at Old Trafford.
With the acquisition of Harvey Elliott and Jadon Sancho, Unai Emery's Aston Villa shows their ambition to compete for the Europa League title, along with a high ranking in the Premier League.
