According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the night of November 5 and early morning of November 6, the area from Ha Tinh to Binh Dinh will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain.

Rainfall from 7 p.m. on November 5 to 3 a.m. on November 6 was over 120mm in some places, such as: Nam Dong (Thua Thien-Hue) 184.4mm, Tra Thanh (Quang Ngai) 123.6mm... On the morning of November 6, the area from Ha Tinh to Quang Binh had moderate to heavy rain with rainfall from 20-50mm, locally over 70mm in some places.

From the morning of November 6 to the end of November 7, the area from Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa will have moderate rain, local heavy rain, very heavy rain with rainfall from 50-100mm, some places over 200mm; warning of the risk of local heavy rain, over 100mm/6 hours. From the night of November 7, heavy rain will tend to decrease.

In addition, on the day and night of November 6, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, the Central Highlands and the South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 15-30mm, locally over 60mm, rain concentrated in the afternoon and evening; thunderstorms are likely to have tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

On November 8, heavy rain in the Central region continued to decrease. The risk of natural disasters due to heavy rain, tornadoes, and lightning is level 1.
