Bac Giang strives to consolidate 199 separate schools in the 2024-2030 period

According to statistics, from 2017 to now, the whole province has consolidated 198 preschools and 179 primary schools. Districts with many separate schools include Luc Ngan, Son Dong, and Hiep Hoa.

In the 2024-2030 period, Bac Giang province aims to consolidate 199 separate schools, including 129 kindergartens, 69 primary schools, and 1 junior high school. Add to the list of land expansion plans for 93 schools, including 34 kindergartens, 31 primary schools, and 28 junior high schools that are not yet included in the land use plan. Expand the land area for 258 schools, including 115 kindergartens, 80 primary schools, and 63 junior high schools that do not have enough land area already included in the list of local land use plans.

The consolidation of remote schools aims to reduce the number of small-scale schools and overcome the situation of scattered and fragmented schools. Thanks to that, localities can focus on investing in facilities, ensuring students' learning rights; improving access to quality educational services; improving the quality of comprehensive education, helping students to fully study music , fine arts, information technology, foreign languages ​​and collective activities outside of class.

To achieve the set goals, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested local Party committees and authorities to strengthen leadership and management in implementing and mobilizing necessary resources in the process of implementing the plan. Do a good job of mobilizing and propagating to the people about the policy of building infrastructure in the main area to consolidate isolated points, creating consensus among the people from the beginning; ensure land fund for implementation.

People's Committees at all levels focus resources and prioritize budget allocation for investment in building facilities and purchasing equipment for kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools to consolidate remote locations.

The Department of Education and Training presides over and advises the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to develop, deploy, and organize the implementation of the plan; coordinates with branches, agencies, and units to resolve difficulties and problems. Proactively coordinates with the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities to direct and urge the implementation of detailed plans by stage and each year.
