Bac Ninh province delegation worked and participated in many activities in Nanning city, China

Accordingly, Comrade Pham Van Thinh and the delegation attended the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo and friendly, economic and trade exchange activities with the theme "Artificial intelligence promotes development, innovation leads the future - Promoting the building of a Community of shared future with new opportunities from the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area 3.0" organized by the People's Government of Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China.

Comrade Pham Van Thinh and the delegation paid a courtesy visit to Comrade Nong Sinh Van, member of the Standing Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Secretary of the Nanning City Party Committee.

Within the framework of the visit and working session in Nanning City, on September 18, Comrade Pham Van Thinh and the delegation worked with Nanning Urban Railway Limited Company; attended the Nanning Friendship City - Nanning - Hanoi Economic Corridor 2025 Exchange Conference and re-signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the People's Committee of Bac Ninh Province and the People's Government of Nanning City on behalf of the new Bac Ninh Province.

At the working session with the leaders of Nanning Urban Railway Limited Company, Mr. Chau Thien Trung, General Director of the Group, happily welcomed the leaders of Bac Ninh province and the working delegation to visit the enterprise.

This is a Chinese State Corporation responsible for developing the railway system in Nanning city and surrounding areas. The Nanning high-speed railway currently has 5 lines invested from 2012 and completed in 2016, with a total investment of about 2.5 billion USD.

Speaking here, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh thanked the leaders of Nanning Urban Railway Limited Company for their attention and reception. At the same time, he expressed his impression of the synchronization and modernity in the development of the Group's high-speed railway system; especially the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in management and operation.

On the same afternoon, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh and the Provincial Delegation attended the Nanning Friendship City - Nanning - Hanoi Economic Corridor 2025 Exchange Conference. The conference aimed to have in-depth dialogue and exchange with leaders of localities in ASEAN countries on promoting high-quality urban development using artificial intelligence. Thereby, building a new model of China - ASEAN artificial intelligence cooperation. The conference demonstrated the strategic vision of cooperation between Nanning City and international friendship cities in the AI era.

Here, the leaders of Bac Ninh province and Nanning city also re-signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province and the People's Government of Nanning city under the name of the new Bac Ninh province, to continue to strengthen and further develop the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two local governments.

The Memorandum of Understanding emphasized cooperation in the economic, cultural and social fields between the two localities. In terms of economy, the two sides agreed to strengthen trade cooperation, continue to create conditions for businesses of both sides to explore investment and trade cooperation opportunities, support businesses to implement cross-border trade investment, and jointly provide high-quality services to businesses of both sides, in accordance with the laws of each country.

Comrade Pham Van Thinh and leaders of Nanning city re-signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province and the People's Government of Nanning city.

In the cultural and social fields, the two sides agreed on contents related to cooperation in human resource development through short-term training; granting scholarships to students, supporting school construction; cooperating in vocational training and providing high-quality human resources to attract investment; organizing youth exchanges; organizing festivals, sports competitions, art performances, exhibitions with content and forms suitable for both sides...

The Memorandum of Understanding is based on the principles of mutual respect and mutual benefit, within the scope of functions, tasks and powers of each party, ensuring compliance with the laws and relevant regulations of each country and international treaties.

Within the framework of the program, Comrade Pham Van Thinh and the delegation paid a courtesy visit to Comrade Nong Sinh Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Secretary of the Nanning Municipal Party Committee; and visited the China-ASEAN Artificial Intelligence Innovation Cooperation Center; the China-ASEAN Smart City Synchronous Innovation Center and visited the Guangxi Ningfu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.

This is an important activity of practical significance to contribute to strengthening the relationship between Bac Ninh province and Nanning city in particular, and between Vietnam and China in general.
