Bac Ninh: Industrial production index in August increased by 16.78%

BAC NINH - According to information from the authorities, the industrial production index (IIP) in August of Bac Ninh province increased by 16.78% compared to August 2024. In the first 8 months of 2025, the province's industrial production index increased by 16.19% over the same period last year.

Of which, the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 16.36%; the electricity production and distribution industry increased by 0.71%; the water supply and waste treatment industry is estimated to increase by 19.03%. The industrial production value (current price) in August is estimated at over VND 234,144 billion, up 17.16%, and in 8 months it is estimated at over VND 1,556,848 billion, up 16.17%.
