Faced with complicated weather developments and the risk of natural disasters caused by storm No. 11, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to urgently deploy measures to respond to floods from storm No. 11, to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.

Units need to be fully aware of the dangerous and complex nature of this heavy rain, especially in the context of many areas having suffered damage due to floods, landslides and inundation in recent times. Thereby, proactively develop response plans appropriate to the situation of each locality.

Ensuring the safety of vessels and vehicles operating at sea, along the coast, on islands and on land must be prioritized, along with protecting infrastructure, dams, educational and medical facilities, aquaculture areas and production and business activities. At the same time, localities need to quickly prepare plans to evacuate people and deploy rescue and relief operations when bad situations occur.

At the same time, measures to respond to floods, flash floods, landslides must be synchronously deployed according to assigned functions and tasks. Localities and relevant units must be ready with forces, materials, and means according to the "four on-the-spot" motto, not to be passive or surprised.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned to organize on-duty shifts, monitor weather and natural disasters; preside over and coordinate with units to implement assigned tasks. At the same time, synthesize and report damages, propose response plans, support and advise the Provincial People's Committee to handle matters beyond its authority.

The Department of Construction and the Department of Industry and Trade proactively deploy solutions to respond to floods in their respective fields, ensuring safety for power systems, hydroelectric dams, transportation activities and industrial production.

The Provincial Hydrometeorological Station is assigned to monitor and regularly update detailed forecasts, identify risky and dangerous areas and always provide information to authorities.

Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio and Television strengthen communication work, reporting fully and accurately on natural disaster developments so that people can proactively prevent them.

Units managing reservoirs, irrigation and hydroelectric dams in the province must urgently control, adjust and deploy plans to ensure safety of the works, paying special attention to reservoir operations and protecting downstream areas in case of emergency discharge.
