Dismissal of commune chairman for improper relationship with female civil servant

Information from the People's Committee of Nghia Hung district, Nam Dinh province said that the district has approved the decision to dismiss Mr. Bui Van Dat (54 years old), Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghia Binh commune, from the position of Commune Chairman due to improper relations.

Ms. LTT (41 years old), an employee of the Statistics Department of the People's Committee of Nghia Binh commune, was forced to quit her job for the same reason.

At the meeting of the Standing Committee of Nghia Hung District Party Committee in mid-August, 100% of the votes unanimously agreed to the disciplinary measure of expulsion from the Party for Mr. Bui Van Dat and Ms. LTT.

Previously, knowing that Ms. T. and Mr. Bui Van Dat (both married) had an illicit relationship, Ms. T.'s family tried their best to dissuade them but failed.

After Ms. T.'s husband and some people caught Mr. Dat having an illicit relationship with Ms. T. at a motel in Nghia Thai commune, Nghia Hung district, Ms. T.'s family filed a complaint with the local authorities.

The incident was then recorded as an administrative violation by Nghia Thai Commune Police.
