In the first 6 months of the year, the District Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee issued 1 resolution, 7 directives, 2 regulations, 2 statutes, 18 plans and many other documents... to focus on leading and directing the implementation of instructions from superiors and political tasks of the district; ensuring the goals and requirements of the proposed political tasks.

By the end of June 2024, all basic targets and tasks in the area were on schedule compared to the plan. Of which, 6 targets were on schedule; 9 targets were not yet evaluated. Some outstanding results, such as: The value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production reached 165.9 billion VND (up 4.49% over the same period in 2023); disbursement of basic public investment capital reached the target according to the directive of the Provincial People's Committee; total retail sales of goods and service revenue was estimated at 413.01 billion VND, reaching 54.13% of the plan; targets in the fields of education and training, creating new jobs all met the plan.

In addition, the district successfully organized major political programs and events, such as: Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the District Party Committee; 70th anniversary of the founding of the District Armed Forces; responding to and participating in a series of events during the National Tourism Year - Dien Bien Phu, the Ban Flower Festival in 2024 and the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory. In the first 6 months of the year, poverty reduction and social security policies were strengthened and effectively implemented. National defense was maintained; security - politics, social order and safety in the area were ensured; foreign affairs and international cooperation continued to be maintained, promoted and expanded.

Since the beginning of the year, the whole district has admitted 71 new party members, reaching 33.02% of the plan; established 1 party cell in a private economic unit, reaching 100% of the plan; 100% of villages and residential groups have party cells; 85/110 village and residential group leaders are party members...

In addition to the achievements, the conference also frankly acknowledged some limitations and discussed solutions to overcome them. Specifically: The progress of implementing some programs and projects is still slow (macadamia planting, production forest planting and biomass electricity...); State budget revenue in the area has not reached the plan (reaching 30.18%); the disbursement rate of career capital for 3 national target programs is low (2.37%)...

Based on the opinions, proposals and additions of the delegates, the conference agreed on 18 specific groups of solutions for each field, with the goal of striving to complete and exceed the plan set for the year.
