On the evening of July 30, the National Costume competition within the framework of the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 contest took place in Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province.

This competition attracted attention when the audience discovered that the national cultural costume named Trung Vuong , introduced by the MC, was inspired by the design of the Trung Sisters.

However, the quote was actually from Lady Trieu. The historical confusion made many viewers angry.

The organizing committee representative admitted that there was a mistake in information during the Trung Vuong costume performance by designer Nguyen Huy Hoang, on coach Vu Lan Anh's team.

The organizers explained: "During the contestant's performance, the organizers immediately noticed a mistake in historical details. However, because the program was broadcast live, we were unable to handle it immediately.

Immediately after the performance, we stopped broadcasting and cut out the performance with this error. We sincerely apologize and this is a profound lesson for us. We hope that the audience will sympathize."

"Previously, during the rehearsal night of July 29, the quote of General Ba Trieu was not used in the performance. The organizing committee did not approve the addition of the quote of General Ba Trieu that the designer intended to include in the competition night of July 30.

However, the technical staff mistakenly used an audio file that the organizers had not approved. The organizers would like to take responsibility for their mistake and hope the audience will forgive the unfortunate mistake," the organizers added.

The National Costume competition is one of the most anticipated competitions in beauty contests.

Audiences expect new, creative designs from talented young designers, trained and mentored by experienced designers.

Taking on the role of coaches for Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 are designers Nguyen Viet Hung, Vu Lan Anh, Dang Trong Minh Chau and Nguyen Minh Cong.

The organizers invested money and enthusiasm to bring impressive designs to the audience.

The final night of Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 is expected to take place on the evening of August 3, at NovaWorld Phan Thiet.
