During the visit, the delegation of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department visited Comrade Bun Khong La Chiem Phon, Secretary-Governor of U Dom Xay Province and Standing Deputy Secretary of Luong Pha Bang Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Xu Can Bun Nhong.

The delegation of the Propaganda Department of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, Socialist Republic of Vietnam held talks with the delegation of the Propaganda Department of 03 Northern Lao provinces. In the spirit of solidarity, special friendship, understanding, and mutual respect, the working delegation of the Propaganda Department of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee and the Propaganda Department of 03 Northern Lao provinces informed each other about the results of economic , social, defense - security development, Party building work, and propaganda work of the Party Committee of Dien Bien province and 03 Northern Lao provinces.

The delegation of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department signed a memorandum of understanding with the Propaganda Department of Luang Prabang province, Lao People's Democratic Republic.

In order to improve the effectiveness of cooperation in the coming time, the Propaganda Department of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee and the Propaganda Department of 03 Northern Lao provinces signed a memorandum of understanding, agreeing to continue to propagate and educate cadres, party members and people of each side about the traditional friendship, great solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos; together exchange experiences in propaganda work between the Propaganda Department of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee and the Propaganda Department of 03 Northern Lao provinces. At the same time, they affirmed to take turns hosting the regular talks every two years between the two agencies. Accordingly, the next Talks will be held in 2025 in Dien Bien province, Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
